Ken began his investment industry career in 1997 and joined Stifel in 2017. Prior to Stifel, he served as Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, Managing Director at Bear Stearns, and First Vice President at RBC Wealth Management. He earned a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Rutgers University and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. He also completed three courses at MIT’s Sloan School of Management on the business applications for Blockchain, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
Ken’s particular area of focus lies within the international technology arena. Specifically, he oversees portfolios that primarily invest in companies believed to be on the cutting edge of disruptive innovation. He helps investors diversify beyond the representation of the S&P 500 index and across different market caps, sectors, and styles.
Passionate about the community, Ken currently serves in various roles: board member of The South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center, founding member, investor, and event planner of The Fintech Connector, board member of Finnish American Chamber of Commerce, member of Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, and member of the National Arts Club. He is proud to have achieved a level of near-fluency in Swedish and is working toward completing the same in German.
